Roberta J. Fox is one of Canada's top IT communications technology consultant, analyst, thought-leader, and industry speaker on unified communications, telecommunications and networking technologies.  She also brings extensive experience helping large organizations acquire complex technology and business solutions including the recent award winning Canada Suicide Prevention Service voice, text and chat national suicide prevention and support hotline.

Roberta has also held continuing education faculty teaching position at Humber College, and has spoken at Ryerson Polytechnic University in the areas of advanced networking technology and technology procurement.  She has also participated on academic advisory committees on telecommunications and network engineering with numerous Canadian institutes of higher education including Humber College and Algonquin College.

Bill provides NG9-1-1 and telecommunications technology design and acquisition analysis to the 9-1-1 Tech Advisors practice. He combines his deep technology expertise, industry experience and financial analysis acumen to working on complex technology acquisition projects.

 

Bill Elliott brings over 40 years experience working in the telecommunications industry to the FOX GROUP consulting organization.

Bill is actively involved in the North American NG9-1-1 area through his active involvement in NENA 9-1-1 association and is a committee lead within the CRTC Working Group that establishes NG9-1-1 standards. He regularly attends and presents at leading vendor conferences and customer education events on next generation technology trends as an Emergency Number Professional.

Stephen has 37 years experience in the information technology industry in Canada. He has been involved in senior level hands-on technology support, project management, training, IT Management and business development roles for many large corporate clients spanning a diverse range of technologies and industries such as Polygram Music, North American Trust, Logisil Consulting, ASAP Computer Products to name a few.

 

He has also been responsible for technology support programs, staff requirements, staff management and development for complex distributed technology environments. His experience has been gained in both corporate and consulting roles in information technology management, IT architecture, vendor management and technology staff supervision. He has also been involved in numerous technology start-up companies in business development roles for complex technology solutions.

Dr. Shallal’s professional background includes recent role of CIO of Barbados, as well as eight years as CIO for the Government of York Region with a population of over one million and serving the technology needs of over 4,000 employees. He also served as the CIO for the City of Hamilton with population of over half a million, and some 7,000 employees.

 

Dr. Shallal enjoyed a career with the City of Ottawa and the Region of Ottawa-Carleton as Director of Geomatics, then Executive Director of IT serving the technology needs of over 10,000 employees.
