Roberta and John's Tips of the Week
- Take advice in areas outside your expertise. If you have little business experience, surround yourself with experts and former entrepreneurs who understand pricing and market strategies. Building a product and building a business are two very different things!
- Pay attention to hot trends on other platforms. There can be a lot of spillover from one platform to another. If it's hot on the web right now, try the same idea on a cell phone! There's a good chance it will get the same response from consumers.
- Don't ignore potential markets. Consider the various types of consumer that could benefit from your product. What is useful for an individual could be just as useful for a business, and vice versa. Cater to both groups and you could increase your sales.
